Position Summary: Provide technical support and advisory services to customers on rock blasting, supervise field execution, and propose innovative solutions to optimize processes. Key Highlights: 1. Design of innovative solutions and leadership in emerging technologies. **Mission or Objective**: Deliver customer technical support based on contractual agreements, promoting improvement in rock blasting processes while complying with quality and safety standards. * Provide technical support to internal and external customers on blasting protocols (charge design, blast sequencing, and others) to ensure efficient execution aligned with Enaex standards. * Provide technical advisory services to external customers on the application of Enaex’s diverse services and products to generate value and optimize outcomes. * Supervise and monitor field blasting execution to ensure compliance with protocols, established standards, and adaptation of technical solutions to specific customer conditions. * Design and propose solutions for blasting planning and execution, integrating emerging technologies and best operational practices to optimize time, cost, and quality—leading continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and sustainability in operations. * Supervise and evaluate blasting project results through analysis of operational and comparative data to identify improvement opportunities, optimize the process, and determine the most effective scenarios. * Lead the field implementation of new technologies to ensure usage according to technical specifications. * Evaluate post-blast analysis of explosives used, based on obtained results, to propose alternatives meeting KPIs. * Recommend modifications based on identification and documentation of operational deviations that may impact blasting outcomes via technical notes, aiming to ensure sustained performance and continuous improvement. * Conduct evaluation and follow-up of blasting results to ensure alignment with established objectives or KPIs. Experience: * Minimum 4 years of experience in mining. * At least 3 years of experience in blasting. * Degree in Mining Engineering or related field; licensed professional engineer. * Basic knowledge: cost analysis and the Mine-to-Mill process. * Intermediate knowledge: rock blasting design and execution, data science and programming (Power BI), proficiency in PowerApps. * Advanced knowledge: specialized blasting software (Blastware, Microtrap, Thor, JK Simblast, Paradigm, DAS, OpitBlast); English language proficiency. * Advanced knowledge: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Experience in management and continuous improvement processes. * Class A2B driver’s license held for at least two years.
