Job Summary: We are seeking a Sampling Technician to conduct advance and colluvial sampling at a mine site, record data, and support sample management. Key Responsibilities: 1. Conduct sampling of advance and colluvial workings. 2. Record sample data and assist in transporting samples to the laboratory. 3. Maintain the Excel sampling database up to date. On behalf of our client in the mining sector, we are looking for a **Sampling Technician** to join the unit's operations. **Work Schedule:** 20 days on / 10 days off \- Ayacucho **REQUIREMENTS** * Completed secondary education and/or technical training in sampling. * Computer literacy and proficiency in Office applications (Excel). * Minimum 1 year of experience as a Sampling Technician or Sampling Assistant in conventional or semi-mechanized mining operations. * Additional 1 year of experience in mining operations as a Drilling Assistant (desirable). * Willingness to work under a mining work schedule and reside in a camp. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Systematically conduct advance sampling using channel methods and rock sample types. * Perform colluvial sampling using trenching methods (rock or soil). * Record data for each sample on the sampling card, paint the channel outline, and place visible identification codes in the mining working area. * Insert quality control samples (high-grade standards, medium-grade standards, blanks, duplicates, and twins). * Transport samples to the geology storage area, label sample bags, and prepare them for shipment to the laboratory. * Assist the surveyor in channel layout and maintain the Excel sampling database up to date. * Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or inherent to the position. **BENEFITS** * Covered per diems (transportation, meals, and transportation). * EPS health insurance at 80% coverage. * Benefits under the General Payroll Regime.
