**Position Summary:** Process Engineer Jr. **Location:** Cajamarca - Peru **Time:** Full-time. **Reports to:** Maintenance Manager **Position Purpose:** Lead plant improvements, facilitating the tools designed for this purpose and ensuring standardization of the unit's processes. **A day in the life of...** * Evaluate material variation and ensure process sustainability * Participate in process line improvement projects. * Participate and identify root causes of process and product deviations in the Plant. * Participate in indirect budget control. * Participate in defining production programs and provide support to the manager in achieving planned objectives. * Coordinate and follow up on production line maintenance. * Actively participate in the design, execution, and evaluation of savings and improvement projects. * Manage loss reduction. * Attend and participate in internal audits. * Ensure corrective actions are implemented. * Manage plant indicators and root cause analyses. * Manage requirements for corrective maintenance and plant improvements. * Validate and actively participate in performance evaluations of temporary and permanent staff. * Execute training plans according to identified individual capability development priorities. * Participate in the food safety team as required by factory needs. * Participate in evaluating plant investment projects. **What will make you successful:** * **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Food Industry Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. * **Experience:** 2 years of experience in internal processes within Production, Engineering, or Continuous Improvement in the food industry * Knowledge of continuous improvement tools such as Ishikawa, IVPH, TPM Link, TNAIC, or Deming Cycle * Intermediate to Advanced English, Advanced Office Suite, and Intermediate SAP **Competencies:** * Communication * Teamwork * Leadership * Stakeholder Management
