Job Summary: Support the development of Instrumentation and Control Engineering through the preparation and updating of CAD/BIM drawings and models, ensuring quality standards under the guidance of an engineer. Work in industrial, mining, or engineering environments **Job Objective** Support the development of Instrumentation and Control Engineering by preparing and updating CAD/BIM drawings and models (AutoCAD and Revit), ensuring compliance with drafting standards, interdisciplinary coordination, and technical project quality under the guidance of the responsible engineer. **Requirements** * Technically certified or graduated in **Industrial Design, Technical Drawing, Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, BIM, or related fields.** * **1 to 3 years of experience** as a CAD Technician, Junior Designer, and/or BIM Modeler in industrial, mining, or engineering environments. * Intermediate-level proficiency in **AutoCAD 2D** for preparation and updating of technical drawings. * Basic/intermediate-level proficiency in **Revit** for modeling instrument cabinets, conduits, junction boxes, supports, and associated Instrumentation and Control components. * Familiarity with **Navisworks** is desirable for clash detection and model coordination. * Desirable experience in instrumentation, communications, detection, conduit, industrial layout, or equipment location drawings. * Ability to work according to drafting standards, project guidelines, and instructions from the responsible engineer. * **Availability for full-time employment.** **Responsibilities** * Prepare and update Instrumentation and Control drawings under the guidance of the responsible engineer. * Support the development of instrument location, cabinet, junction box, and field component layout drawings. * Model instrumentation, control, communications, and detection cabinets. * Model and update conduits for instrumentation, communications, control, and detection systems, including cable trays, conduits, ducts, junction boxes, and supports. * Prepare and update conduit routing drawings for instruments, communications, and detection systems. * Develop assembly details based on standard details, existing references, or technical team instructions. * Incorporate comments, clashes, or engineering changes into drawings and models. * Support coordination of conduit routing with electrical, process, piping, architectural, civil, or mechanical disciplines. **Competencies** * Order and discipline in handling drawings, models, and files. * Ability to follow drafting and modeling standards. * Willingness to receive instructions and corrections. * Technical/visual judgment regarding component placement, routing, accessibility, and clashes. * Effective communication with the engineering team. * Proactivity in seeking clarification before implementing changes. * Adherence to deadlines and accountability in delivering drawings/models.
