Management and control of merchandise at all stages **Position:** Warehouse Assistant (f/m) **Department:** Logistics / Warehouse **Employment Type:** Full-time / On-site **Location:** La Victoria **Salary Range:** S/ 320 \- 350 Industria Textil Altavista, a leading microenterprise in the women's maternal fashion sector, is seeking an enthusiastic and talented individual to join our team of Sales Associates at the largest commercial retail complex in Peru. **Job Description:** We are looking for a responsible, organized, and proactive individual for the position of **Warehouse Assistant (f/m)**, responsible for ensuring proper handling and control of merchandise at all stages—from receipt through distribution to stores—guaranteeing compliance with quality, organization, and efficiency standards in garment production and packaging processes. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform **quality control** on incoming merchandise, verifying compliance with established standards (finishes, sizes, stitching, packaging, etc.). * Accurately record **incoming and outgoing merchandise** in the system and on prescribed forms. * Maintain **consistent and effective communication with stores** to coordinate shipments, returns, or special requests. * **Assemble orders requested by stores**, ensuring completeness, proper packaging, and readiness for dispatch. * Conduct **periodic physical inventories** for both the central warehouse and stores, reconciling them with inventory control systems. * Possess knowledge of **garment assembly and finishing processes**, to supervise and validate high-quality finished products. * Generate **sales receipts and invoices** in the system for sales or shipments, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate. * Ensure order, cleanliness, and proper stock rotation within the warehouse. * Support tasks such as **packaging, labeling**, and distribution as needed. **Requirements:** * Minimum 1 year of experience in similar roles (warehouse, inventory control, logistics, or textile industry). * Basic knowledge of **garment manufacturing or assembly processes** (preferred). * Proficiency in **office software** and/or inventory management systems. * Ability to work under pressure and pay close attention to detail. * Strong teamwork orientation and effective communication skills. **We Offer:** * Formal employment under MYPE payroll regulations. * Learning opportunity in the textile and fashion industry. * Dynamic and respectful work environment.
