Our culture is characterized **Your mission** Provide specialized technical support in the use of drilling tools and rock drilling methods, Drilling equipment in mining operations; identify the method and elements required for each drilling and ground support operation; evaluate and propose suitable drilling and ground support options; field-evaluate the installation and proper performance of ground support elements through pull-out tests using specific equipment for each application. Accompany our customers in selecting the appropriate drilling and ground support products so they can make the best decisions during procurement and after-sales processes, working under the highest service standards with quality, economy, efficiency, effectiveness, and above all, safety. Issue reports through the collection of technical data, analysis of information, and investigation of results; provide internal and external training support. **What will be my responsibilities?** * Carry out scheduled field technical assistance visits, coordinated with the customer's maintenance team. * Prepare technical reports corresponding to the work performed during technical visits. * Make recommendations regarding replacements due to wear or poor condition of drill beam components that could cause premature damage to the drill string. * Develop preventive and corrective maintenance plans for sharpening machines (GM HG, BQ3, GM Jazz). * Conduct performance tests on drilling rod components. * Issue clear and timely (instructional) reports on the results obtained. * Prepare technical reports to determine the causes of premature disposal of drill steels. * Understand and interpret electrical and pneumatic diagrams for proper maintenance of sharpening equipment (GM HG, BQ3, GM Jazz). **The ideal candidate for this position:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering // Technician in Mining Exploration, Mechanical Maintenance. * Minimum of 2 years of experience in underground mining. (Knowledge of drill steels) * Knowledge of mining methods and applications * Knowledge of rock drilling methods and applications (TH, DTH). * Knowledge of manual and mechanized rock drilling equipment. * Class AIIB driver's license (desirable). * Proficient in Microsoft Office at user level. * Basic technical English (desirable). **It all starts with people.** The world needs metals and minerals for the energy transition and our cities and infrastructure must be developed to serve a growing population.
