Position Summary: Intermediate Electrical Engineer to supervise teams and develop technical documentation for hydrocarbons and mining projects. Key Highlights: 1. Coordination and supervision of teams in electrical projects. 2. Development of advanced studies using ETAP, Digsilent, DLT CAD, and PLS CAD software. 3. Extensive experience in electrical design for mining and hydrocarbons. An opportunity has currently arisen to join AtkinsRéalis as an Intermediate Electrical Engineer within the Minerals and Metals Division. **Responsibilities:** * Coordinate and supervise the work of a team comprising designers and intermediate/junior engineers to produce technical documentation (documents and drawings) for the electrical discipline in hydrocarbons (onshore facilities) and mining projects, covering conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering phases. * Perform power flow, short-circuit, motor starting, and harmonic studies using ETAP or Digsilent software. * Calculate medium-voltage overhead lines using DLT CAD or PLS CAD software. * Knowledge of hydrocarbons and mining industry standards and regulations for performing calculations, sizing, and selection of electrical equipment, grounding systems, lighting, lightning protection, and power and control cabling. * Coordinate with other disciplines. * Coordinate task assignments and progress reporting with the immediate supervisor. **Requirements:** * Academic Qualification: Licensed and registered Professional Engineer in Electrical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering. * Software Proficiency: Intermediate Microsoft Office, intermediate AutoCAD, DLT CAD, PLS CAD, ETAP, Digsilent, Navisworks (for visualization), EMTP, Dialux. * Knowledge and application of international standards ISA, ASME, ANSI, ISO, NACE, IEC, NEC, API, NFPA. * English Proficiency: Intermediate. * 5\-8 years of experience in high- and medium-voltage substation design, power generation systems, high- and medium-voltage overhead lines, and medium- and low-voltage distribution systems in hydrocarbons and mining facilities. **Application Process:** * Applications are accepted exclusively through our corporate careers portal; applications submitted via other channels will not be accepted. * We contact only shortlisted candidates for interviews. * Relocation expenses are not covered.
