Job Summary: We are seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to support the development of technical documentation and electrical analysis for mining and hydrocarbons projects. Key Highlights: 1. Development of technical documentation and electrical analysis A current opportunity has been created to join AtkinsRéalis as a Junior Electrical Engineer in the Minerals and Metals Division. **Responsibilities:** * Coordinate with the team comprising designers and junior engineers to support senior/intermediate engineers in preparing electrical discipline technical documentation (documents and drawings). * Assist intermediate/senior engineers in developing study documentation for load flow, short-circuit, motor starting, and harmonics using ETAP or Digsilent software. * Assist in medium-voltage overhead line calculations using DLT CAD or PLS CAD software. * Knowledge of hydrocarbons and mining sector standards and regulations for performing electrical calculations, equipment sizing and selection, grounding, lighting, atmospheric protection, and power and control cabling. * Coordinate with other disciplines. **Requirements:** * Academic Qualification: Graduate in Electrical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering. * Software Proficiency: Intermediate Office, Intermediate AutoCAD, DLT CAD, PLS CAD, ETAP, Digsilent, EMTP, Intermediate Dialux. * Knowledge and application of international standards ISA, ASME, ANSI, ISO, NACE, IEC, NEC, API, NFPA. * English Level: Intermediate * 3\-5 years of experience as a designer assistant for medium- and high-voltage substations, medium-voltage overhead lines, and medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution in industrial plants, hydrocarbons, and mining facilities. * Experience in construction and supervision of hydrocarbons and mining installations. **Process:** * Applications are accepted exclusively through our corporate career portal; applications submitted via other channels will not be accepted. * We contact only shortlisted candidates for interviews. * Relocation expenses are not covered.
