Ability to solve design and manufacturing problems We seek a **Mechanical Designer** with **advanced SolidWorks expertise**, capable of developing 3D models, assemblies, and fabrication drawings with sound engineering judgment, adhering to industry best practices. **Mandatory Requirements** * Advanced **SolidWorks proficiency**. * Experience in mechanical part and assembly modeling. * Preparation of fabrication drawings including dimensioning, tolerances, and technical details. * Handling complex assemblies and positional relationships (mates). * Knowledge of design intent and parametric modeling. * Ability to generate clean, editable, and optimized designs. * Interpretation of mechanical drawings and technical documentation. * Engineering judgment to resolve design and manufacturing problems. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in welded structure design (Weldments). * Sheet metal design. * Advanced surface modeling. * Knowledge of manufacturing processes (turning, milling, welding, laser cutting, etc.). * Basic simulation or analysis experience within SolidWorks.
