**Job Objective:**
Ensure efficient flow of materials, equipment, and services to various construction sites. Responsible for the entire supply chain—from supplier negotiations to on-site delivery—ensuring cost optimization through rigorous comparative analysis and verification of subcontracted service valuations.
**Requirements:**
* Education: Degree in Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
* Specialization: Certification in Supply Chain Management or Procurement is desirable.
* Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in the construction sector (essential familiarity with construction materials and site dynamics).
* Software: Proficiency in ERPs (S10 Logistics Module, SAP, StarSoft or similar) and advanced Excel.
**Specific Responsibilities:**
* Quotation Management: Request and analyze budgets for materials (steel, cement, aggregates, finishes) and services, ensuring optimal commercial terms.
* Comparative Tables: Prepare detailed technical and economic analyses for management review, evaluating not only price but also delivery timelines, quality, and payment terms.
* Valuation Control: Review and validate valuations from service providers and subcontractors (e.g., machinery rental, external labor), ensuring alignment with actual site progress.
* Supplier Qualification: Maintain a database of reliable suppliers and periodically assess their performance.
* Warehouse Management: Supervise on-site inventory to prevent losses, theft, or overstocking.
* Dispatch Logistics: Coordinate transportation and unloading of materials, considering access restrictions at each project site.
**Key Technical Competencies:**
* Must master construction-site terminology to avoid being misled by suppliers or contractors.
* Material knowledge: Ability to differentiate technical specifications (e.g., concrete types, steel grades, admixtures).
* Unit Price Analysis (APU): Ability to understand how a purchase impacts the budget line item.
* Negotiation Skills: Ability to secure volume agreements and credit lines with major suppliers.
**Work Location**
* Willingness to work 90% on-site and 10% at the office located in Miraflores.
