Job Summary: We are seeking a mechanical/electrical engineer or welder with experience in roller door maintenance for inspection, cleaning, lubrication, adjustments, and repairs, including welding. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive maintenance of roller doors: inspection, cleaning, and adjustments 2. Performing electrical, safety, and welding repairs 3. Work on roller door maintenance MINGECO INGENIERIA SAC requires personnel with studies in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering \-welding or with experience in ROLLER DOOR MAINTENANCE\-WELDING to perform the following functions. * **Inspection and diagnosis:** * Conduct visual inspections to detect wear, deformations, or loose parts in the drum, slats, guides, and housings. * Test door operation to verify proper opening and closing and appropriate sensor response. * Check spring tension and cable tension. * Identify root causes of malfunctions or failures. * **Cleaning:** * Remove dirt, dust, grease, and debris from guides, slats, and other mechanisms. * Clean sensors to ensure proper operation. * **Lubrication:** * Lubricate shafts, bearings, and springs for smooth movement. * Use specific lubricants (not generic ones such as cooking oil) on moving parts, including guides and rollers. * **Adjustments:** * Adjust spring tension and end-of-travel limits on motorized doors. * Align guides and correct misalignments. * Tighten nuts and bolts that may have loosened. * **Electrical and safety maintenance:** * Check motor, control panel, and electrical connections for proper operation. * Verify that anti-crush safety systems (e.g., photocells) function correctly. * **Repairs:** * Perform minor repairs using hand and power tools. * Weld as necessary to repair or join components.
