Job Summary: Quality Operator to ensure products comply with internal standards and customer requirements, by monitoring process parameters, performing NDT, and auditing the quality management system. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure quality standards and customer requirements. 2. Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) and dimensional inspections. 3. Contribute to continuous improvement and ensure traceability. At **Ríos Foundry**, we are seeking a new talent for the position of **Quality Operator** to ensure that products meet internal quality standards and customer requirements, by monitoring critical process parameters, performing **non-destructive testing (NDT)** and dimensional inspections, auditing the quality management system, contributing to continuous improvement, guaranteeing traceability, and delivering conforming products with complete technical documentation. **Responsibilities:** * Perform dimensional inspection on parts, verifying casting and machining dimensions against customer or company drawings and technical specifications. * Visual inspection of cast and machined parts, evaluating surface condition according to regulatory criteria. * Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): Penetrant testing, magnetic particle testing, and hardness measurement. * Measure and monitor critical production process parameters at each stage. * Verify that parts meet internal specifications and customer requirements prior to shipment. * Record inspection results obtained during testing and production in the appropriate forms. * Prepare quality dossiers delivered to customers, consolidating records, test results, certificates, and technical documentation generated during the process. * Prepare internal and external non-conformance reports (NCRs). * Supervise compliance with heat treatments applied to cast parts. * Analyze inspection and testing results. **Requirements:** * Technical or university degree in Industrial Engineering, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields. * Ability to interpret engineering drawings, perform dimensional control, and operate measuring instruments. Knowledge of quality standards (ASTM), traceability, casting and machining processes, and quality management systems. * Experience in quality inspection within production processes, preferably in foundry or metalworking industries.
