We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with proven experience in software test automation. **This position is hybrid in Quito/Ecuador.** **Responsibilities:** * Design, develop, and execute automated tests to validate functionalities. * Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria. * Document and report defects clearly and accurately. * Participate in defining test strategies. * Execute tests in environments involving complex data models. * Develop test scripts and maintain them up to date. * Validate data quality and functionality in SQL and NoSQL databases. * Use test automation tools such as Cypress, Karate, Serenity, K6, among others. * Support continuous improvement of testing processes. **Requirements** * Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a QA Engineer. * Experience in software test automation. * Basic to intermediate programming skills. * Experience in software testing, preferably in data model development environments. * Knowledge of testing methodologies and test case design. * Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases. * Experience with automation tools such as Serenity, Karate, K6, Cypress, Protractor, TestCafe, Appium, among others. **Desirable:** * ISTQB or equivalent certification. * Knowledge of development best practices: Git, TDD, code reviews, CI/CD. * Experience with RPA (Robotic Process Automation) tools. * Prior experience in agile environments. **Benefits** At Devsu, we aim to create an environment where you can thrive both personally and professionally.
