Description
Position Summary:
Manage the collections process, including follow-up with clients, suppliers, and other entities; record payments; and coordinate with various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. End-to-end management of the collections process and account follow-up.
2. Interdepartmental coordination for the regularization of outstanding accounts.
3. Portfolio analysis to identify risks and propose preventive actions.
* Manage the collections process for accounts receivable, conducting timely follow-up with clients, suppliers, sponsors, commercial rights, rentals, sports schools, members, licenses, and agreements.
* Develop and execute collection schedules according to established due dates.
* Contact clients via phone calls, emails, and other means to manage payment recovery.
* Record and update collection information in the institution's systems.
* Reconcile received payments with bank statements and accounting records.
* Issue account statements for outstanding receivables, debt reports, collection letters, and other related documents.
* Coordinate with Commercial, Accounting, Treasury, and Legal departments for the regularization of outstanding accounts.
* Prepare periodic reports on aging balances, delinquency, portfolio recovery, and collection indicators.
* Analyze the client portfolio to identify uncollectibility risks and propose preventive actions, collection procedures, and write-offs or charge-offs as appropriate.
* Monitor payment commitments made by clients and verify their fulfillment.
* Manage documentation required for referring cases to the Legal department when necessary.
* Address inquiries and complaints related to billing, payments, and account statements.
* Maintain up-to-date physical and digital archives of collection documentation.
* Participate in monthly closing by providing information related to accounts receivable.
* Comply with internal policies, financial procedures, and applicable tax regulations.
* Perform other duties inherent to the position as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Salary: S/.3,000\.00 \- S/.3,500\.00 per month
