At Stefanini, we are more than 30\.000 geniuses, connected from 41 countries, doing what we love and co\-creating a better future. **You definitely don’t want to miss out!** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Software development for application maintenance and remediation of vulnerabilities identified in code by Scotiabank’s Security Team scans. * Support the QA team with inquiries and correction of identified issues. * Deployment of applications into non-production environments for certification. * Version control of code modifications using tools provided by Scotiabank’s team. * Documentation of evidence for vulnerability remediation in modified applications. * Participation in coordination meetings with the development team and peers within the Digital Solutions area. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Advanced knowledge of Java 8, 11, 27, 21 and Spring. * Advanced knowledge of Oracle (creation of stored procedures, packages, functions, tables). * Understanding of authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, sessions, etc.) and authorization for API protection. * Intermediate knowledge of JavaScript, including ES6\+. * jQuery knowledge desirable for DOM manipulation and event handling. * Bootstrap knowledge desirable. * Thymeleaf knowledge desirable. * Ability to design, implement, and document RESTful APIs. * Knowledge of SOAP and how to create/consume SOAP services. * Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Swagger for API testing. * Experience with version control systems such as Git. * Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum. * Knowledge of unit and functional testing. * Knowledge of web application security best practices, such as protection against XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection, etc. Looking for a place where your ideas shine?
