Opportunity to apply knowledge of international trade and customs procedures. **The DHL Express Customs Peru Operations Department is seeking an Intern** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ### **ROLE PURPOSE** Ensure the best customer experience by providing timely support in managing and tracking shipments, as well as responding to inquiries and requirements related to the customs clearance process, in accordance with DHL Express procedures and standards. ### **YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES** * Support the management and tracking of cargo mobilization requests to the temporary warehouse, in accordance with instructions from the clearance team. * Assist in updating and tracking shipment statuses in the system, based on provided information and under the supervision of the clearance team. * Support pre-clearance inspections by collecting and recording information required by the clearance team. * Support registration of the pre-clearance report, ensuring information is entered promptly and in accordance with established procedures. * Support administrative tasks for the clearance team, such as responding to emails, forwarding inquiries, and tracking requirements. * Comply with applicable internal procedures, policies, and controls related to assigned activities. ### **WHAT YOU BRING** * Graduate of a technical or university program in Administration, International Business, International Trade, or related fields. * Prior experience in administrative, logistics, international trade, or warehouse activities is desirable. * Basic knowledge of international trade and customs procedures. * Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Availability to perform the internship in person in Callao.
