Job Summary: We are seeking a creative-minded Video Editor with narrative skills to manipulate and edit audiovisual content, ensuring logical sequencing and smooth development. Key Highlights: 1. Use of advanced editing technologies Company AHPNL is looking for a candidate for the position of Video Editor. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Manipulate and edit video segments in a way that remains imperceptible to the audience. * Review shooting scripts and raw footage to create a shot decision list based on scene value and contribution to continuity. * Trim image segments and assemble the video sequence. * Introduce music, dialogue, graphics, and effects. * Create rough cuts and final cuts. * Ensure logical sequencing and smooth development. * Consult with stakeholders throughout production and post-production processes. * Continuously explore and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency. * Must possess a creative mindset and narrative abilities. * Create and design special effects for audiovisual programs. * Verify that footage captured by photographers and cinematographers complies with specifications. * Perform additional duties assigned within the scope of this position. * Produce videos using various lighting, recording, and/or sound techniques. * Develop storyboards to define work plan pathways. **COMPETENCIES:** * Teamwork. * Proactivity. * Adaptability. * Flexibility. * Stress tolerance. * Initiative. * Planning and organization. * Commitment. **PROFILE** **Minimum academic qualification:** * Technical degree in Audiovisual Production, Radio and Television, or related fields. * Final-year student in Communication studies. **Minimum experience (preferred):** * 1 year of progressive experience in video editing. **Desired knowledge and skills:** * Principles and techniques for video organization. * Editing rhythms, appropriate musicalization, and color psychology. * Knowledge of video equipment operation. * Computer programs and specialized software in the field of video and special effects. * Proficiency in computers and software applied to video editing. * Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (Avid Media Composer, Light Works, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere, Final Cut, etc.). * Familiarity with special effects, 3D technology, and compositing. * Demonstrable ability to edit video with a strong portfolio. **EMPLOYMENT TYPE**: Full-time **SALARY**: S/.1,250.00 for the first three months. Formal payroll enrollment after the third month. Salary: S/.1,250\.00 per month Work location: On-site employment
