




Job Summary: Responsible for preparing and settling DAM, verifying supporting documentation, performing tariff classification, conducting customs valuation, applying trade benefits, controlling rules of origin, and preventing customs violations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manages the preparation and settlement of DAM for imports and exports. 2. Ensures correct tariff classification and customs valuation. 3. Prevents customs violations and contingencies by coordinating with relevant authorities. * Prepare and settle import, export, and other customs regime DAM as applicable (SINTAD system). * Verify and review supporting documentation: commercial invoices, BL/AWB, packing lists, certificates of origin, insurance policies, permits, among others. * Verify correct **tariff classification (NANDINA)** supported by technical justification. * Validate **customs valuation** in accordance with the WTO Agreement on Implementation of Article VII and SUNAT regulations. * Review the **application of tariff benefits, FTAs, preferences, and exemptions**, ensuring documentary support. * Supervise compliance with **rules of origin** and review of certificates. * Control mandatory documentation related to regulatory entities associated with CUSTOMS \- SUNAT (MINSA, SENASA, DIGEMID, PRODUCE, MTC, among others). * Assess risks and **prevent violations stipulated in the General Customs Law (LGA).** * Identify and prevent **customs contingencies, violations, and penalties**. * Coordinate with account executives and/or sector specialists to resolve observations. * Respond to **requests, electronic notifications, audits, and post-clearance controls by SUNAT**. * Keep internal procedures updated according to SUNAT regulatory changes. * Support internal and external audits. * Regularize advance customs clearances to avoid fines. * Submit inquiries and modifications via the Customs System and SDA to track declaration status.
