Position Summary: We are seeking a Metallurgical Engineer to lead and monitor metallurgical testing projects, ensure quality, manage technical reports, and train teams. Key Responsibilities: 1. In Peru, we operate across most economic sectors—including mining, agriculture, and fisheries—forming part of the value chain for their products and services. **Job Description** * Evaluate metallurgical test results to ensure quality and project compliance, providing administrative and technical direction while adhering to defined policies, standards, and procedures. * Monitor project progress according to established procedures and protocols. * Review and/or prepare technical reports of results for submission to clients and the Commercial Department. * Guide, train, and coach the team under supervision to ensure adherence to defined procedures, work instructions, and methodologies. * Participate in technical and commercial meetings with clients. * Manage monthly project billings. * Track and coordinate activities with SGS subsidiaries and external suppliers, in collaboration with project leaders. * Actively participate in continuous project improvement. * Continuously analyze metallurgical test results, as well as review project progress reports. **Requirements** * Certified Metallurgical Engineer with more than 5 years of experience leading metallurgical testing projects. * In-depth knowledge of mineral processing * Strong analytical ability, leadership skills, and excellent communication at all levels * Proficiency in MS Office and intermediate-to-advanced English * Statistical software proficiency preferred **Additional Information** * Formal employment contract from day one. * Statutory Life Insurance. * Ongoing training opportunities. * Corporate agreements.
