Policy maintenance and renewal, account follow-up **Full Job Description** **Hello everyone!** We are looking for top talent to join \#OneTeamAvla as a General Risk Underwriter, who will be responsible for the appropriate selection of risks for underwriting the General Risks policies marketed by the company. **Who Are We?** We are an insurance group offering comprehensive solutions across Latin America through Guarantee Insurance, Credit Insurance, and Financing Solutions. We operate in Chile, Peru, Mexico, Brazil, and the United States, supporting over \+55\.000 companies with our diverse solutions. **What Are the Requirements?** * Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields. * Intermediate-level Excel proficiency * Intermediate-level English proficiency * Familiarity with raw materials, safety, fire/theft prevention systems; knowledge of insurance policies: Fire and Business Interruption / Technical Lines / Civil Liability / others * Minimum two years of prior experience in this role or similar positions. * Insurance industry experience is desirable. **What Will You Be Responsible For?** * Evaluate conditions and analyze risks to ensure proper policy underwriting. * Review and analyze risks to be quoted, and prepare account summaries, including coordination for facultative accounts and/or co-insurance, in collaboration with the General Risk Technical Management. * Follow up on quoted accounts through communication with internal and external clients. * Manage and execute policy maintenance and renewal. * Prepare technical reports containing key information to support departmental decision-making. * Adhere to risk acceptance limits or priorities according to the hierarchical structure. * Identify and monitor compliance with company-established risk parameters. * Quote and place risks with Facultative Reinsurance, subject to prior approval by the Head of Department, Deputy/General Technical Management of General Risks. * Perform other duties inherent to the area as assigned by your immediate supervisor. **What Do We Offer?** * 100% covered EPS (Health Insurance). * Early Friday every week throughout the year. * Professional growth opportunities: Merit- and performance-based career path, with promotion prospects aligned with your contributions and achievements. * Corporate benefits: Exclusive discounts, health insurance, and more—designed for your well-being.
