At Synopsis S.A., we are looking for a Semi-Senior Cloud Operations Engineer (PERU) for our banking-sector client, with experience in Kubernetes operation and basic administration, working directly via command line interface (CLI), to ensure cloud service continuity in critical environments. ONLY PERU RESIDENTS WILL BE CONSIDERED. Location: Lima, Peru Work Mode: Hybrid (2 days per week) Mandatory Requirements: ✔ Minimum 2 years of experience in IT/Cloud operations ✔ Experience working with Azure and/or AWS ✔ Proficiency with Azure CLI / AWS CLI ✔ Hands-on Kubernetes experience, including: * kubectl get * kubectl describe * kubectl logs * kubectl apply ✔ Creation and configuration of Pods and Deployments using YAML files ✔ Knowledge of: * Pods, Deployments, Services, Ingress * Namespaces * Secrets and ConfigMaps ✔ Experience troubleshooting: * Pods in CrashLoopBackOff state * Applications receiving no traffic * Events and configuration issues ✔ Experience handling incidents and escalating to N2/N3 Main Responsibilities: * Operation and support of Cloud platforms (Azure / AWS) * Basic administration of Kubernetes clusters * Deployment and modification of resources via YAML * Diagnosis and resolution of operational incidents * Ticket management and SLA compliance * Technical documentation and escalation Desirable: * Experience with HPA (Horizontal Pod Autoscaler) * Cluster capacity monitoring and analysis * Basic automation (Bash, PowerShell) What We Offer: * Challenging projects in the banking sector * Positive work environment * Opportunity for learning and professional growth * Full statutory payroll with all legally mandated benefits * EPS + Oncology Insurance Please send your CV to: frponce@synopsis.ws + salary expectations Application Questions: * Please indicate your salary expectations * How many years of experience do you have using Kubernetes? * Do you have experience working with Azure and/or AWS? * Kubernetes?
