Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with current internal standards, policies, and procedures. **What do we expect from you?** * Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computing, or related fields. * Minimum 3 years of experience as an IT Specialist or IT Expert. * Required knowledge includes: * Analysis, design, and use of development tools. * In-depth knowledge of current information technologies. * Team management. * In-depth knowledge of Java development (Spring Boot preferred). * In-depth knowledge of .NET or .NET CORE development. * In-depth knowledge of Web development (Angular or React preferred). * In-depth knowledge of AS400 (Genexus preferred). * Knowledge of security services (authentication and authorization) is preferred. * Proficiency in source control, tracking tools, and testing. * Knowledge of RESTful APIs. * Understanding of microservices-based architectures. * Knowledge of continuous integration (DevOps). * Knowledge of incident management. * Intermediate English language proficiency. **What challenges will you face?** * Comply with risk policies issued by Scotiabank Peru. * Analyze, specify, and develop software solutions for various initiatives received, and deploy developed solutions into production. * Manage vendors regarding execution and fulfillment of assigned initiatives. * Design systems comprehensively, and analyze, evaluate, and implement third-party-developed banking products. * Provide detailed time and cost estimates for user-submitted initiatives, and maintain constant communication with requesting users. * Respond to inquiries from internal and external auditors, and accommodate inspections by SBS and SUNAT on software applications. * Manage the portfolio of assigned initiatives, as well as the resources required to address them. * Analyze and resolve incidents to restore service as quickly as possible, and design solutions to problems in IT applications. * Prepare and document all developed initiatives. * Coordinate with teams in Peru and Canada to execute initiatives in the current portfolio. * Coordinate with teams in Peru and Canada to execute initiatives in the current portfolio.
