Position Summary: We are seeking a professional to manage fleets and logistics, overseeing routes, real-time monitoring, personnel, and costs—ensuring operational and regulatory compliance. Key Highlights: 1. Operational team leadership and schedule coordination. 2. End-to-end fleet, supplier, and distribution management. 3. Negotiation, problem resolution, and effective communication. **Main Responsibilities** · **Scheduling and Routing:** Design and approve daily distribution routes and vehicle dispatch. · **Monitoring:** Real-time vehicle tracking to ensure adherence to loading and delivery timelines; respond promptly to incidents/emergencies. · **Personnel Management:** Lead operational teams (drivers and assistants) and coordinate their schedules. · **Cost Control:** Negotiate rates with carriers, control per-trip expenses, manage travel allowances, monitor fuel consumption, and supervise fleet maintenance. · **Reporting:** Ensure compliance with cargo documentation and legal regulations (e.g., GRR, GRT, permits, safety forms, hazardous materials), and perform personnel and fleet homologation with our clients. **Profile Requirements** · **Education**: Bachelor’s or Technical degree in Industrial Engineering, Administration, Logistics, Transportation, or related fields. · **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years in similar roles managing fleets, suppliers, and warehouse/distribution operations. · **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in management systems (ERP, TMS) and intermediate/advanced Excel. · **Additional Knowledge**: Supplier homologation, traffic regulations, and specializations in Hazardous Materials (MATPEL) or oversized cargo are often valued, depending on the sector (mining, retail, mass consumer goods). **Key Skills** · Strong negotiation and rapid problem-solving abilities (focused on incident mitigation). · High capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. · Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate across departments (sales, warehouse, and customers).
