Coordinate and manage ventilation work with mining teams. **Date:** 26 Apr 2026 **Location:** 14 \- LIMA, PE **Company:** Buenaventura At Buenaventura, we are currently seeking a **Ventilation Engineer** **– Mining Unit:** **Key Responsibilities:** * Ensure mine ventilation is planned, maintained, and controlled in accordance with the RSSO. * Develop and maintain appropriate ventilation models and plan changes aligned with operational and mine life plans. * Review LOM designs to identify best practices, optimize the LOM, and improve long-term infrastructure. * Generate, review, and develop Ventilation Projects. * Coordinate and manage ventilation work with mine supervision and mining contractors. * Analyze evacuation times and implement evacuation route plans for underground mine operations. * Develop comprehensive ventilation studies and reports for all underground facilities. * Mine design and fire simulation using Ventsim software. * Perform other activities as directed by the Line or Functional Manager related to area activities. **Professional Profile:** * Licensed University Graduate in Mining Engineering. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar positions. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. * Ventsim specialization certification (Desirable). * Atypical System. ***IMPORTANT!*** ***Buenaventura does not request any type of payment to participate in its selection processes.
