JOB DESCRIPTION** We are seeking a Junior Physicist or intern to join the Research and Development (R\+D) area, with the objective of supporting scientific, experimental, and data analysis projects, contributing to the development of technical and innovative solutions. **2\. PROFESSIONAL PROFILE** Interest in scientific research, analytical ability, critical thinking, and willingness for continuous learning, oriented toward experimental work and result analysis in a laboratory environment. **3\. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * Support the development of research and development (R\+D) projects. * Conduct measurements, tests, and experiments in the laboratory. * Analyze, process, and interpret experimental data. * Prepare technical reports and documentation of results. * Assist in the calibration and use of laboratory equipment and instruments. * Collaborate with the research team to improve experimental processes and methodologies. **4\. EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND** * Graduate or final-year student in **Physics**, physical engineering, mechanical engineering, metallurgy, or related fields. **5\. EXPERIENCE** * 6 months preferred. * Prior experience in pre-professional internships, academic research projects, or laboratory work will be valued. **6\. TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE** * Basic or intermediate proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB. * Knowledge of Excel for data analysis. * Familiarity with physical simulations and modeling. * Basic knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and equipment. * Fundamentals of statistical analysis. * Interest and basic understanding of scientific research. **WORKING HOURS** Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm; Saturdays, 8:00 am to 1:30 pm Employment Type: Full-time Work Location: On-site
