This Position reports to: Engineering Manager Your role and responsibilities In this position, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority within an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple moderate-sized projects or parts of larger projects, ensuring cost efficiency. Additionally, you will demonstrate your expertise by ensuring tasks are performed according to contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and norms. The working model for this position is: Hybrid in Lima. This role contributes to the Process Automation Business Area. You will be primarily responsible for: * Working with the client to define and deliver solutions, seeking feedback that drives continuous improvement. * Developing work plans and cost estimates for the project portfolio, ensuring quality, timely implementation within target costs. * Coordinating with relevant functions to ensure designs are correctly manufactured, assembled, tested, installed, and commissioned. * Guiding and advising engineering colleagues in translating conceptual designs into technical documentation, promoting best practices and sharing lessons learned from previous projects. Qualifications for the position * You hold a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, or related fields. * You have more than 2 years of experience in the design and development of electrical systems, preferably in electrical substation design for mining. * You communicate fluently in English, demonstrating both technical and professional proficiency in the language. * You possess advanced knowledge and are highly skilled in specialized electrical engineering software and design tools applied to the industry. **At ABB, we are committed to addressing global challenges.
