In Peru, we operate in most economic sectors such as mining, agriculture, and fishing, forming part of the value chain of their products and services. **Job Description** * Develop, maintain, distribute, and control the Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment Program. * Supervise work activities related to safety, health, and environmental protection. * Ensure compliance with departmental objectives within the scope of responsibilities of the position. * Execute the work plan for the assigned business unit, as well as the company's and clients' annual safety, health, and environmental programs. * Manage responses to audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews concerning the company’s and client’s safety and environmental activities. * Ensure compliance with and understanding of the client’s integrated management system procedures. * Train personnel on the implementation of the Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Program. * Ensure compliance with general SSMA induction training for both new and existing employees. * Develop and review work procedures and baseline IPERC matrices for the assigned business unit and/or project activities, aiming to inform workers of their risks and align them accordingly. * Apply work stoppage when working conditions are unsafe and pose a risk to personnel, the environment, assets, or the community. * Train workers according to the annual SSOMA program and deliver SST talks based on topics relevant to current circumstances. * Conduct monthly safety, health, and environmental meetings with different departments, as well as with contractors, to ensure alignment with SSMA policies and legal regulations. * Carry out investigations and analyses of workplace accidents and incidents occurring at facilities. * Comply with SGS's Internal Work Regulations, Code of Integrity, and Professional Conduct. * Prepare monthly SSOMA statistics including accident and frequency rates. * Analyze SSOMA KPIs and other management indicators. * Perform internal SSMA audits across all areas to verify compliance with all management tools. **Requirements** * Graduate and licensed professional in Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Safety Engineering, or related fields. * Diploma in Safety Management or related field. * Minimum 3 years of experience in SSOMA in similar projects. * Languages: Basic English * Software skills: Intermediate Microsoft Office, Power BI * Orientation towards efficient and effective use of material and human resources. * Reporting skills, results-driven attitude, empathy, and people leadership **Additional Information** * Payroll inclusion from day one. * Life insurance as per law. * Corporate agreements. * EPS covered at 80%
