A company expanding in the industrial sector **Job Posting: Mechanical Engineer – Projects and Metalworking Manufacturing** **About Us:** We are an industrial-sector company specializing in metalworking, civil works, and electrical services. Currently undergoing expansion, we seek a technically skilled professional to optimize our production. **Location:** * Lurín, Lima **Job Objective:** Plan, supervise, and ensure quality in the fabrication of metal structures and tanks, guaranteeing efficient material usage and on-time delivery. **Key Responsibilities:** * Supervise cutting, assembly, and welding processes in the workshop. * Prepare detailed part drawings and cutting plans to minimize material waste. * Monitor production schedules and coordinate with operational teams. * Implement quality control and industrial safety protocols. **Candidate Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree or certified graduate in Mechanical Engineering. * **3–5 years of experience** supervising metalworking workshops or industrial plants. * **Residence in Lurín or neighboring districts (Punta Hermosa, Villa El Salvador, San Juan de Miraflores)**, or **immediate availability to relocate** to an area near the workshop. * Strong knowledge of blueprint interpretation and technical standards. * Visual inspection and dye penetrant testing certification preferred. **Software Proficiency:** * **Design:** AutoCAD (Advanced) and SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor (Mandatory for modeling and assemblies). * **Management:** MS Excel at intermediate–advanced level (handling task matrices and budgets). * **Planning:** MS Project or similar project control tools. **Workshop Management and Quality Tools:** * Knowledge of welding standards (AWS D1\.1\). * Familiarity with UL 142 and NFPA standards for tank manufacturing (desirable). * Application of workshop management tools (5S, production KPIs, or similar). **We Offer:** * Formal employment with statutory benefits. * Opportunity to lead projects in a growing company with renovated infrastructure. * Job stability and career progression opportunities. **How to Apply?** If you meet the profile and location requirements, please send your updated CV to: **svega@isc.pe**, with the subject line: **MECHANICAL ENGINEER – LURÍN**, specifying your current salary expectations.
