Job Summary: Accounting professional responsible for recording transactions, preparing financial statements, filing tax returns, and supporting audits. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive management of accounting and tax compliance. 2. Preparation of financial statements and tax returns. 3. Support in inventory processes and annual budgeting. § Timely recording of assigned accounting transactions (e.g., purchase invoices, professional service receipts, travel expense reports, etc.). § Review of the SUNAT electronic mailbox. § Verification and recording of invoices related to the costing of imported goods. § Verification of account balances. § Conducting account analyses. § Monthly preparation of financial statements and their annexes. § Monthly preparation of tax returns (e.g., PDT 621, PLE, PLAME, etc.). § Support in preparing the Annual Income Tax Return. § Preparation of other reports, statements, and filings required by SUNAT and other institutions (e.g., DAOT, ITAN, etc.). § Support in monthly physical inventory counts of warehouse merchandise. § Support in preparing the annual budget. § Monthly review and cash count of petty cash. § Monthly provision for active insurance policies. § Monthly provision for fixed asset depreciation. § Verification of information for printing physical tax ledgers. § Perform other duties inherent to the position as assigned by the immediate supervisor. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or university graduate in Accounting. Solid knowledge of tax and labor legislation. Experience using accounting software. Familiarity with International Accounting Standards (IAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
