Proficiency in Incoterms and Peruvian customs regulations **Import Analyst** *About the position:* **INIAR**, a company operating in the naval industry, is seeking an Import Analyst to join its Logistics and International Trade department. The selected candidate will report directly to the department head and will be responsible for managing and executing operational import processes, ensuring compliance with Peruvian customs regulations and supply chain efficiency for INIAR. ***Experience with countries of origin:*** Particular emphasis will be placed on experience importing from Europe (Germany, United Kingdom, Russia, etc.), Asia (China, Japan, etc.), and other international regions, including familiarity with their respective documentary, logistical, and negotiation peculiarities. ***Main responsibilities:*** * Manage and process import procedures before SUNAT and customs authorities. * Prepare, review, and control commercial documents: invoice, delivery note, Bill of Lading, Packing List, and Customs Declaration (DAM). * Correctly apply Incoterms in each international purchase transaction. * Verify compliance with Peruvian regulatory requirements for goods entry. * Monitor costs and budgets related to import operations. * Coordinate with international suppliers from Europe and Asia, managing international payments and negotiations. * Support the selection and evaluation of international suppliers. * Coordinate with logistics operators and customs agents. ***Requirements:*** * Degree in Business Administration, International Business, International Trade, or related fields. * Prior experience importing from European countries (Germany, United Kingdom, Russia, etc.) and/or Asian countries (China, Japan, etc.). * Knowledge of Incoterms, tariffs, customs procedures, and Peruvian import regulations. * Familiarity with commercial documentation and customs procedures. * Knowledge of international logistics and cost control. * Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. * Intermediate English proficiency (reading and writing commercial documents). * Familiarity with SUNAT procedures. ***Personal competencies:*** * Strong negotiation skills * Problem-solving ability * Organized * Responsible * Assertive communication Employment type: Full-time, Permanent Work location: Hybrid in Callao, Callao
