




Position Summary: We are seeking an Import Assistant to manage foreign trade processes, coordinate shipments, and keep customers and management informed about the status of goods. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage import and export processes. 2. Coordinate and supervise cargo tracking. 3. Track shipments from dispatch to delivery and invoicing. ANALYTICAL LABORATORY is an accredited environmental laboratory dedicated to providing environmental monitoring and analytical services for various sectors such as mining, hydrocarbons, industry, fisheries, etc. We are currently seeking an **IMPORT ASSISTANT** **REQUIREMENTS:** * Technical degree or university graduate in International Trade, International Business, Customs, or related fields. * Minimum 2 years of experience. * Intermediate level of Microsoft Office. * Advanced English (spoken and written). Residence in areas adjacent to Callao \- Bellavista \- San Miguel \- SMP **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Receive and review documents sent by the client, supplier, and/or Commercial Department. * Send requested reports to clients, management, and other immediate superiors regarding shipment status and provide real-time updates or observations. * Track the arrival and departure of goods. * Supervise assistants and sales staff to ensure optimal performance of their duties. * Manage import and export processes with associated suppliers (shipping lines, airlines, maritime agents, and warehouses). * Manage shipment routing according to client requests. * Manage and track shipments until goods delivery and corresponding invoicing. * Maintain up-to-date incident records. * Transport and/or load goods when they are at our premises. * Other duties inherent to the position. **SKILLS:** * Effective verbal and written communication. * Teamwork. * Planning and organizational skills. **BENEFITS:** * Timely monthly payments. * Professional growth. * Payroll registration from day one. * General labor regime.
