Geological interpretation and project coordination **Exploration Geologist** **Job Description:** We are looking for a **Geological Engineer** with an active professional license and a minimum of 5 years’ experience to join our team in managing and executing geological projects, 3D modeling, and mineral resource evaluation. **Requirements:** * **Education:** Geological Engineer with an active professional license. * **Experience:** Minimum **5 years** in exploration, geological interpretation, and deposit modeling. * **Technical Knowledge:** Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) – Advanced; AutoCAD – Intermediate; SURPAC – Optional; Leapfrog – Intermediate * **Skills:** Geological analysis and interpretation, preparation of technical reports, project coordination, and teamwork. * **Competencies:** Commitment to mining safety and environmental standards, proactivity, and results orientation. **Main Responsibilities:** * Integrate and compile geological data and appropriately interpret the 3D genesis of the deposit. * Design and implement diamond drilling programs and recommend indirect exploration tools to optimize mineral resources, in coordination with other departments within the unit. * Identify requirements for geometallurgical, geotechnical/geomechanical, and specific gravity testing to develop and carry out specialized studies. * Prepare performance reports on drilling, logging, mapping, and interpretation, along with associated budgets. * Continuously coordinate and report progress and execution of work to the Superintendent. * Evaluate and determine mineral resources, geological reserves, sampling, tonnage, and grades; delineate mineralized zones and waste areas; and report any anomalies or unsafe conditions. * Map, correlate, and transfer geological-structural information onto level plans and cross-sections, ensuring geological information for assigned operational areas remains up to date. * Comply with Mining Safety and Environmental standards and procedures. **Benefits:** * Formal employment registration * Health insurance (EPS) * On-site work under an atypical 14-days-on/7-days-off schedule at the Bella Unión mining camp – Arequipa Workplace: On-site employment
