Job Description: The Database Specialist will define and lead the client's data persistence strategy, governing over 170 native AWS clusters (Relational and NoSQL) and on-premises engines, ensuring performance, resilience, and security of financial information. **Requirements:** --------------- **Mandatory Requirements:** Minimum 5 years of experience as a DBA in high-volume transactional environments (Banking, Retail, Payment Gateways). In-depth knowledge of Cloud-native databases (AWS RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB). Strong experience in Performance Tuning, troubleshooting bottlenecks, and data architecture design. Desirable: AWS Certified Database – Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate **Responsibilities:** Lead architecture, advanced query tuning, and optimization of critical databases such as AWS RDS, Aurora MySQL, and DynamoDB. Define High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, and backup retention policies. Administer NoSQL environments such as MongoDB Atlas. Ensure encryption of data at rest and in transit, and proper secret management.
