Job Summary: A healthcare professional responsible for managing and supervising the execution of clinical trials, coordinating patient visits, and maintaining up-to-date documentation. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manages and supervises clinical trials. 2. Coordinates patient visits according to protocol. 3. Maintains documentation and databases up to date. **Job Description** ---------------------- Manage and supervise the execution of assigned clinical trials. Coordinate patient visits for the research area according to protocol, including initiation visits, monitoring visits, quality visits, study close-out visits, and sponsor or national regulatory authority visits. Manage study-specific documentation and documentation requested by monitors. Maintain all institutional and protocol-specific forms updated and in their correct versions. Supervise and submit protocol documentation to the Ethics Committee. Participate in updating institutional procedures and guidelines. Maintain the research unit’s database up to date. Consolidate patient information for reporting and follow-up of serious adverse events to the sponsor and the Ethics Committee, as well as non-serious adverse events when required. Maintain updated treatment administration schedules jointly with the nursing team and pharmacists, as well as special requirements for each visit. Maintain inventory and control of devices and equipment (tablets, phones, electrocardiographs) delivered to the center for the development of assigned clinical trials. Supervise all activities performed by delegated staff for assigned studies (nurses, pharmacists, microbiologists, imaging technicians, researchers). Carry out role-specific and study-specific tasks in accordance with institutional guidelines, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and local and international regulations. Coordinate and/or participate in monthly meetings with the institution’s research team regarding recruitment, general protocol information, and quality circles—including dissemination of management indicators and management reports—as well as other meetings scheduled by the immediate supervisor. **Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Healthcare professional. * 2 years of experience in academic training-related activities and 1 year in clinical research. * English proficiency level: A2; B1 desirable. * Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
