**Position Title: Study Physician**
**Position Mission:** Deliver high-quality care to patients diagnosed with Tuberculosis, MDR-TB, XDR-TB, COVID\-19, and HIV/AIDS who participate in research studies, following guidelines outlined in the research protocol, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of the Clinical Trials Unit, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and Human Subjects Protection (HSP) in research.
**Requirements:**
· Licensed and registered Medical Doctor.
· Minimum 1 year of experience in similar positions, preferably within nonprofit organizations or health sector institutions.
· Experience in clinical research (desirable).
· Master’s degree or specialization in Health Sciences (desirable).
· Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Human Subjects Protection (HSP).
· Knowledge of Tuberculosis, COVID\-19, and HIV/AIDS.
· Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
· Intermediate level English.
· Organizational ability, effective communication skills, and capacity for multidisciplinary teamwork.
· Proactivity and problem-solving capability.
· Commitment to confidentiality and ethics in clinical research.
**Responsibilities:**
· Provide high-quality medical care to patients diagnosed with Tuberculosis, MDR-TB, XDR-TB, COVID\-19, and HIV/AIDS participating in clinical research studies.
· Attend participants during scheduled visits at the clinical research site and satellite outpatient and inpatient COVID\-19 areas.
· Comply with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Human Subjects Protection (HSP), and institutional biosafety protocols.
· Perform medical activities according to daily schedules, study protocols, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
· Maintain confidentiality of collected information and privacy of participants.
· Follow established guidelines from data management and pharmacy departments regarding handling of research data and products.
· Educate participants on health-related topics during scheduled visits.
· Safeguard medical supplies and maintain clinical equipment used in procedures.
· Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team at the clinical research site.

· Formal employment registration (on payroll)
· Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
· Work modality: 100% in-person
· Workplace: Sergio Bernales Hospital Site
