Important vacancy information: * Work location: Pisco, Peru * Work schedule: Rotating shift * Work modality: On-site * Willingness to travel within Peru Main responsibilities: * Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, disassembly, repair or replacement of parts, reassembly, and functional testing, in accordance with internal procedures and current safety standards, to maintain equipment under normal operating conditions. * Read and interpret technical drawings and other data related to the tasks to be performed—using manuals, technical specifications, equipment drawings, and catalogs—to analyze and resolve identified faults and plan work routes. * Replace and test electrical and/or mechanical components according to schedule or operational needs, verifying faults, designs, and tolerances, in compliance with internal procedures and current safety standards, aiming to restore or adapt operational conditions, quality, and safety of machinery. * Inspect equipment using specifications and appropriate instruments, in accordance with internal procedures and current safety standards, to identify potential anomalies. * Perform preventive and corrective electrical and mechanical maintenance on equipment and mechanisms used to fulfill the client contract, following internal procedures, current safety standards, and defined maintenance programs. * Monitor steel manufacturing processes where our equipment is in operation. Required knowledge and skills: * Professional degree in Mechatronics Technician, Mechanical Technician, Maintenance Technician, or related field. * Solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance. * Ability to interact effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. * Two years of specific experience related to the duties of this position. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
