




Position Summary: GRAFIMUNDO is seeking a Purchasing and Import Assistant to execute operational procurement, import, and customs regulatory processes in the graphic and textile sectors. GRAFIMUNDO, a leading company in the trade and distribution of graphic and textile supplies, is looking to incorporate a PURCHASING AND IMPORT ASSISTANT into its team: Position Objective To efficiently execute operational processes related to purchasing and import management, ensuring timely supply, compliance with Peruvian customs regulations, and accurate ERP procedure execution—contributing to achieving supply, inventory turnover, and cost optimization objectives. Main Responsibilities * Issue and register Purchase Orders (POs) in the ERP system, ensuring proper approvals are obtained. * Request and compare proforma invoices from domestic and international suppliers. * Maintain ongoing communication with suppliers, managing deliveries, quotations, basic negotiations, and order follow-up. * Understand and apply current Peruvian customs regulations, as well as documentary requirements for goods nationalization. * Perform landed cost calculations for imported products in the ERP, including freight, insurance, tariffs, and other associated expenses. * Manage supplier claims regarding delivery errors, quality issues, or quantity discrepancies, following up until resolution. * Negotiate basic commercial terms with suppliers to improve delivery timelines, pricing, or delivery conditions. * Coordinate with customs brokers, logistics operators, and warehouse teams to ensure appropriate information and product flow. * Archive and control commercial and customs documentation for each transaction. * Support audits, reviews, and preparation of reports required by management. Position Requirements Academic Qualifications: \- Graduate or degree holder in International Business, Administration, or related fields. \- Technical or university studies from recognized institutions. Work Experience: \- Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles within importing companies or organizations with high volumes of international procurement. Technical Knowledge: \- Solid knowledge of Peruvian customs regulations and import documentation. \- Proficiency in import landed cost calculation. \- Intermediate English proficiency (reading documents, writing emails). \- Advanced Excel skills. \- Specific knowledge: Incoterms, customs regulations, import processes, ERP systems, Microsoft Office.
