SITE QUALITY ENGINEER

Position Summary: We are seeking a Civil Engineer or Architect to ensure quality in construction projects by verifying processes, materials, and compliance with regulations. Key Highlights: 1. Key role in ensuring the quality of construction projects. 2. Comprehensive management of quality and construction processes. 3. Identification and correction of non-conformities. Civil Engineer or Architect Responsibilities: * Validates and oversees compliance with the Quality Assurance Plan. * Reviews the Contractor's schedule and verifies that inspections and tests are included. * Ensures the Contractor delivers a quality plan training session to new personnel joining the site. * Verifies that the Contractor provides training on work procedures and control points. * Ensures protocolization of each construction process on site. * Verifies the quality of critical materials used in construction. * Reviews whether measurement and testing equipment is calibrated, holds a valid Calibration Certificate, and is stored in the appropriate location; updates the control chart. * Enforces technical requirements for construction processes according to approved work procedures and sound construction practices. * Identifies non-conforming outputs and reports them. Coordinates treatments and corrective actions for non-conforming outputs. * Ensures compliance with release protocols for each construction process in coordination with the Contractor. * Channels submittals/technical data sheets. * Routes RFIs to the relevant team member and maintains records and tracks response progress. * Validates and consolidates the Quality Dossier and as-built drawings provided by the Contractor. * Maintains a record of lessons learned from the project for project closeout. * Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Required Experience: · Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality control roles within construction · Project management diploma preferred · Demonstrable experience in short-duration, high-impact construction projects Education / Knowledge: · Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture · PMP certification or studies in project management or portfolios preferred Employment Type: Full-time Salary: S/.4,000.00 - S/.5,000.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
