Responsibilities include providing end-user support for personal computers / servers / mainframe applications, data/voice networks, and ERP systems, covering: Acquisition, installation, and updating of PC hardware and software components, and planning to respond to service interruptions; Diagnosing problem sources through conversations with users and coordinating internally with organizational support teams, operations groups, and/or external vendors to resolve issues; Responding to user requests to investigate complex problems related to the organization’s telecommunications/data networks; Providing real-time end-user ERP system support, identifying issues, and delivering training to facilitate knowledge transfer and prevent recurrence of problems and knowledge transfer. **Candidate Requirements** ### **ACCIONA, within its Construction Business Line, requires the recruitment of an ICT ENGINEER to participate in a tender process focused on the Land-Side construction of an airport located in the Southern Sierra region.** ### **REQUIREMENTS** ### **Academic Qualifications:** * ### **University graduate in Telecommunications Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields.** * ### **Professional Registration and Licensing: Actively registered and licensed with the corresponding Professional Association of Peru.** * ### **Language: Fluent English or Spanish (for candidates whose native language is neither Spanish nor English, valid language proficiency documentation must be provided to demonstrate communication ability. Acceptable documentation includes: an advanced-level Spanish or English language certificate issued by a recognized language center).** ### **Experience:** * ### **General experience: 10 years since graduation or issuance of the corresponding diploma.** * ### **5 years of experience in similar projects as an ICT Engineer and/or Telecommunications Specialist and/or Systems Engineer and/or ICT Coordinator and/or equivalent positions.** * ### **Experience in similar projects means projects of comparable scale and operational criticality, where the candidate held a leadership role in the integrated implementation, testing, commissioning, and handover/training of mission-critical ICT systems at a large-scale public facility operating 24/7 or at a multi-building campus.** * ### **Experience in similar projects means airport-related experience will be prioritized; acceptable equivalents include major transportation hubs (metro/railway stations, seaports), hospitals, data centers/campuses, and large convention centers/stadiums/government complexes where multiple systems operate in an integrated manner.** * ### **In similar projects, candidates must also have experience integrating multiple ICT systems, including at least three of the following domains:** * ### **Structured cabling and fiber backbone.** * ### **Campus-level routing/switching and network redundancy** * ### **Data center/virtualization and monitoring (NMS)** * ### **CCTV, access control, and PIDS** * ### **Interfaces with BMS/SCADA, PA, CUPPS/CUTE/CUSS, and BHS** * ### **Planning and execution of FAT/SAT with defect resolution** ### **Location:** * ### **Willingness to reside and work in the city of Cusco for the duration of the project.** ### **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * ### **Plan, coordinate, and supervise the implementation of the control tower’s technological infrastructure, including conduits, structured cabling, racks, cable trays, ducts, and connection points for ICT systems.** * ### **Review and validate technical drawings and specifications related to network, telecommunications, and control systems infrastructure, ensuring compatibility with other project disciplines.** * ### **Coordinate the integration of ICT systems with electrical, mechanical, security, access control, CCTV, and other airport technical installations.** * ### **Supervise on-site execution of ICT infrastructure works, verifying compliance with approved drawings, technical standards (TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC, IEEE), and quality requirements for airport environments.** * ### **Oversee installation of equipment and data, voice, and control cabling, ensuring correct identification, labeling, and technical documentation of installed systems.** * ### **Issue technical progress and compliance reports, reporting the status of ICT infrastructure and proposing corrective or optimization measures as appropriate.** ACCIONA has received the Top Employer 2024 and 2025 certification.
