Job Summary: Perform Caterpillar mining equipment maintenance activities both in the workshop and in the field, ensuring safety and the expected fleet performance. Key Highlights: 1. Focus on safety and efficiency Job Objective Carry out Caterpillar mining equipment maintenance activities both in the workshop and in the field, ensuring safety measures that prevent personal injury and property damage; then perform these activities effectively and efficiently to achieve the expected fleet performance levels. · Responsibilities Perform maintenance activities such as replacement of major and minor components, inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, in accordance with safety standards, communicating effectively and with clear customer orientation. Coordinate with Logistics to ensure efficient and timely fulfillment of requirements necessary for executing assigned tasks both in the workshop and in the field (e.g., tools, consumable materials, etc.). Report to the Maintenance Supervisor on the progress of work carried out in the workshop and in the field, including findings, needs, and opportunities for process improvement. Complete documentation generated (e.g., Work Orders, generated Backlogs, Man-Hour Reports) resulting from equipment servicing, for subsequent submission to Maintenance Supervision and Planning. · Key Knowledge and Experience Graduate of technical programs in Automotive Mechanics, Maintenance Mechanics, Heavy Machinery, or related fields. Minimum two years’ prior experience working in underground mining in similar positions. Basic English language proficiency. Basic MS Office proficiency. Valid driver’s license.
