Quality and safety assurance in blasting **Responsibilities:** * Provide instructions to the field team regarding tasks to be performed in the blasting area. * Submit requests for raw materials and supplies to inform the respective supervisor. * Inspect blasting operations before, during, and after execution to ensure compliance with established requirements. * Verify equipment status, electronic detonators, and availability of human resources to ensure efficient blasting execution in accordance with Enaex standards. * Program electronic detonators using equipment following established protocols. * Provide instructions to the field team regarding tasks to be performed in the blasting area. * Submit requests for raw materials and supplies to inform the respective supervisor. * Inspect blasting operations before, during, and after execution to ensure compliance with established requirements. * Verify equipment status, electronic detonators, and availability of human resources to ensure efficient blasting execution in accordance with Enaex standards. * Program electronic detonators using equipment following established protocols. * Conduct reconciliation of accessories used to control efficient product utilization. * Verify primer quality, loading control, and borehole stemming to ensure proper blasting execution. * Compare borehole and pattern conditions against the corresponding tie-in plan to ensure correct blasting execution as specified. * Coordinate resource allocation with the supervisor for blasting execution. * Guide and correct actions not aligned with borehole loading protocols or unsafe behaviors. **Requirements:** * 4 years of experience in blasting operations. * Knowledge of explosive types and properties is desirable. * 3 years of experience leading blasting processes is desirable. * Certification in electronic detonator programming systems is desirable. * Bachelor’s degree or graduate in Mining Engineering
