At **Altamira Technology**, we are looking for a **VBA Programmer** to join a challenging project in a hybrid work modality. **Job Objective** Develop, maintain, and optimize **VBA macros for SOLIDWORKS** to automate design, modeling, and technical information management tasks, thereby improving productivity and reducing errors in engineering processes. **Main Responsibilities** * Develop **VBA macros** to automate processes in SOLIDWORKS. * Interact with the **SOLIDWORKS API** (ModelDoc2, FeatureManager, AssemblyDoc, DrawingDoc). * Automate repetitive tasks: * Integrate SOLIDWORKS with **Excel** (BOMs, lists, calculations) or SQL SERVER databases. * Document macros and train technical users. * Support continuous improvements in CAD processes. **Education / Qualifications** * Technical or university degree in **Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields**. * Specialization or proven experience in **VBA programming**. **Technical Skills** * Advanced **VBA (Visual Basic for Applications)**. * **SOLIDWORKS API** and its object model (desirable). * Database integration, **Excel VBA**, and CSV files. * Desirable: * Programming in **C\# or VB.NET** for Add\-ins. **Experience** * Minimum **1 year** developing macros in VBA or in C\# or VB.NET. * Experience in CAD automation within industrial environments is desirable. * Experience in **metalworking, bodywork, transportation, or machinery** is desirable.
