We are currently recruiting professionals for the position of Field Civil Engineer, Intermediate to join our team.
About the Role
* Ensure compliance with scope, cost, time, and quality requirements for civil discipline deliverables (earthworks, access roads, dykes, tailings dams, and water management).
* Maintain clear and effective communication with the client to facilitate coordination with other client departments (e.g., Environment and Operations).
* Monitor contractor-provided resources (human, equipment, and materials) to ensure compliance with specified characteristics for construction execution.
* Promote adherence to the client’s health, safety, and environmental policies.
* Promote compliance with quality controls during construction activities.
* Review daily reports and contribute to weekly and monthly physical progress reports for civil discipline activities.
* Review and validate specific work procedures.
* Review contractor payment certificates, verifying executed quantities.
* Track the contractor’s daily, weekly, and three-week activity schedules.
About You
* Civil Engineer – Licensed and registered with the professional engineering association
* 7–12 years of experience in Process Plants (Mineral Processing) during construction or operations phases, specifically in earthworks, access roads, dykes, tailings dams, and water management.
* 5 years of mining experience (mandatory).
* Knowledge of safety regulations.
* Willingness and ability to work on-site (Site).
