Job Summary: We are seeking a Technical Support Technician to service computers and printers, performing hardware and software diagnostics, repairs, and preventive/corrective maintenance. Job Description: We are a technology services partner and are looking for a Technical Support Technician in the Provinces to provide on-site support for computers and printers of various brands (Lexmark, Xerox, HP, Brother, among others). Work will be performed on-demand from clients under an independent service arrangement (not payroll-based). ______________________________________________________________________ Main Responsibilities: For Computers (PCs and Laptops): * Diagnostics, repair, and preventive/corrective maintenance. * Installation and configuration of operating systems (Windows, basic Linux). * Formatting, data backup, migration, and recovery. * Hardware assembly and upgrades. For Printers (Lexmark, Xerox, HP, Brother, etc.): * Driver installation, configuration, and updates. * Preventive maintenance (cleaning, calibration, consumables inspection). * Corrective maintenance (paper jams, print quality issues, part replacement). * Network configuration (IP settings, print queues, shared printers). * Diagnosis of electronic and mechanical failures. * Inspection and reporting of assigned equipment status. ______________________________________________________________________ Requirements: * Technical degree in Computing, Electronics, Informatics, or related fields. * Minimum 1 year of experience supporting PCs, laptops, and printers. * Solid knowledge of hardware and software. * Proficiency in Windows operating systems (mandatory). * Basic networking knowledge (network printer setup). * Customer-oriented attitude, proactivity, and strong communication skills. * Immediate availability to work in the Provinces (cases will be assigned in the city where the technician resides).
