Position Summary: SIMA-PERU seeks an Engine Area Superintendent to plan, direct, and supervise technical work on projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and proper workforce management. (SIMA\-PERU) is Peru's leading shipyard, responsible for the maintenance, modernization, and construction of vessels for the Peruvian Navy, as well as executing shipbuilding and metal-mechanical industrial projects for national and international public and private sectors, adhering to the most stringent quality standards to support national defense and socio\-economic and technological development. Currently, we are engaged in new projects with HYUNDAI Corporation as our principal partner. We are currently seeking an **Engine Area Superintendent:** **General Function:** Plan, direct, and technically supervise assigned project tasks, ensuring strict adherence to required technical specifications and appropriate workforce management. **REQUIREMENTS**: **Academic Qualification:** * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Engineering, or related fields. **Experience:** * *General*: Minimum three (03\) years in companies or state entities. * *Specific*: Two (02\) years in positions with similar characteristics and responsibilities. **Essential Knowledge:** * Advanced office software proficiency * Basic English proficiency * AutoCAD proficiency * Ability to read and draft engineering drawings * Project management **Additional Competencies:** * Commitment * Goal-oriented mindset * Teamwork **IMPORTANT**: Availability to work on-site in Callao. **NOTE:** *"This job opening is open to all individuals without discrimination, promoting inclusion and diversity within our team.
