Position Summary: Ausenco is seeking a Senior Mechanical & Piping Engineer for its Minerals & Metals business line, focused on overseeing scope, cost, schedule, and quality compliance for plant and process projects. Our team in Peru is growing — we are currently recruiting a Mechanical \& Piping Engineer, Senior to join our Minerals \& Metals business line. **About the Role** * Ensure compliance with the defined scope, cost, schedule, and quality for mechanical discipline deliverables within the Plant and Process program. * Monitor contractor-provided resource (human, equipment, and materials) specifications against contractual commitments for works execution. * Promote adherence to client-established health, safety, and environmental policies. * Promote implementation of quality controls during construction works execution. * Review daily reports and contribute to weekly and monthly physical progress reports for mechanical discipline activities. * Review and validate discipline-specific work procedures. * Review contractor payment applications, verifying completed quantities." * Track daily, weekly, and three-week activity schedules submitted by the contractor. **About You** * 8–12 years’ experience in Process Plants (Mineral Processing), Mill and general equipment installation, during Construction or Operations phases. * 5 years’ mining experience (mandatory). * Degree-qualified and licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer. * Experience leading teams: direct team of 12–15 people; up to 500 people on project; interface with both client and contractor. **Why Ausenco?** We support individual growth, and our goal is to enable you to work in a way that leverages your strengths and meets your needs.
