Job Summary: We are seeking a Field Planning Control Engineer to manage and control production quantities, analyze reports, and support planning teams on Mining and Metals projects. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manages and controls production quantities in Mining and Metals projects 2. Prepares and analyzes quantity reports and progress dashboards 3. Identifies risks and opportunities, proposing mitigation actions We are currently recruiting professionals for the position of Field Planning Control Engineer, Intermediate (Production Control) to join our Minerals \& Metals business line on one of our major field projects. **About the Role** * Manage and control production quantities on site, ensuring alignment with contractual scope. * Monitor available resources on site. * Prepare and analyze quantity reports for support purposes. * Develop weekly and monthly dashboards reflecting progress, deviations, and trends. * Review contractor deliverables and quantity updates to validate progress measurement. * Support planning teams through quantitative analysis for construction and scheduling activities. * Identify risks and opportunities related to quantity deviations and propose mitigation actions together with the technical team. * Contribute to preparing progress and performance reports for internal and client use. **About You** * University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines. * Minimum 4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in planning roles related to production control on large-scale construction projects, preferably tailings dams. * Strong knowledge of quantity measurement methodologies and their contractual application. * Desired experience with AACE methodologies (e.g., Earned Value, TIA). * Primavera P6 – Intermediate. * Intermediate proficiency in Power BI (S-curves, histograms, cost reports, etc.). * Desired: Intermediate or higher level of English. * Willingness to work under an on-site regime. **Why Ausenco?** We support individual growth and aim to enable you to work in a way that leverages your strengths and meets your needs.
