Position Summary: Multicosailor SAC is seeking a Safety Engineer to plan, control, and advise on the implementation and maintenance of safety, occupational health, and quality systems at a mining unit. Multicosailor SAC, a leading company in the transportation sector, is looking for a SAFETY ENGINEER (HUARAZ) to join our team — this could be the perfect opportunity for you! WHAT DO YOU NEED? Degree holder and licensed professional in Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related fields. 3 years of experience as a Safety Engineer or in similar positions within a mining unit. Solid knowledge in personnel transportation and mineral haulage. Availability to work under a 14x7 shift system. WHAT WILL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES? Plan, schedule, control, modify, report, and monitor the execution of tasks assigned to the department, in coordination with management, sub-management according to the organizational chart, and involved departments. Provide advisory support, administer follow-up and control of compliance with Company Policies and Occupational Safety and Health Regulations, and implement the Safety, Occupational Health, Environment, and Quality Management System, considering personnel, infrastructure, materials, and equipment needs to achieve objectives aimed at promoting and maintaining the highest level of physical, mental, and social well-being of workers. Ensure that the Quality Management System conforms to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015. Advise managers, sub-managers, and department heads on the implementation and maintenance of the SSOMAC system, and report progress of SSOMAC implementation to management. Report to general management on the performance of the Quality Management System and on opportunities for improvement. Prepare, in coordination with department heads and Committee members. Support activities related to your position or associated with company operations, as requested by your supervisor. Other duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor.
