




Job Summary: A professional responsible for preventive and corrective electrical maintenance of pumping equipment and associated systems in a mining unit. Key Highlights: 1. A certified Electrical Technician is required to join the operations team at the Antamina Mining Unit. The professional will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective electrical maintenance tasks, ensuring optimal operation of pumping equipment and associated electrical systems, both in the mine and in the workshop. · Key Responsibilities: Inspect electrical connections and commission pumping equipment. Perform maintenance on low- and medium-voltage electric motors. Maintain and inspect motor control centers, electrical substations, grounding wells, variable frequency drives, generator sets, and motor-pumps. Monitor and control pumping-related electrical equipment, sensors, and systems. Install and ensure proper operation of field-mounted electrical panels. Develop and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams according to technical standards. Perform electrical tasks in the workshop and operational mine areas as assigned. Strictly comply with electrical safety procedures, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), and SSOMA standards. · Job Requirements: Certified Electrical Technician (Industrial Electricity, Industrial Electrotechnology, or related field). Minimum 5 years of experience in the mining sector performing electrical maintenance. Knowledge of low- and medium-voltage electric motors, motor control centers, substations, variable frequency drives, commissioning of electric pumps, generator sets, and motor-pumps. Desirable knowledge of crane operation, mobile equipment, or boat operation. Driver's License A-I (desirable). Willingness to work under a 14x7 schedule in Huari - Ancash.
