Coordination with other specialists and technical support **SOIL AND PAVEMENT SPECIALIST ENGINEER** **Location:** Project-based **Employment Type:** Project-based / Service Invoice **Department:** Engineering – Sanitation and Infrastructure Projects Position Objective We are looking for a **Soil and Pavement Specialist Engineer** to join our technical team, who will be responsible for participating in the review, evaluation, and supervision of matters related to soil mechanics, geotechnics, pavements, earthworks, and materials, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and applicable regulations during project execution and/or supervision. Requirements * Professional degree in **Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, and/or Geological Engineering**. * Minimum general experience of **4 years**, supported by relevant documentation. * Valid **professional registration**. * Minimum specific experience of **4 participations** as: * Engineer. * Specialist. * Responsible person. * Team leader. * Supervisor. * Experience in **Soils and Pavements**, **Soil and Pavement Mechanics**, **Soil Investigations**, **Geotechnics and Pavements**, **Soils, Pavements and Materials**, **Earthworks, Soils and Pavements**, or equivalent titles. * Experience developed in the **execution and/or supervision of similar projects**. * From the specific experience, a minimum cumulative duration of **2 years**, calculated from the date of professional registration, must be demonstrated. Main Responsibilities * Review and evaluate soil mechanics, geotechnical, and pavement studies. * Supervise and/or verify earthwork-related activities including excavation, backfilling, earthworks, and compaction. * Review technical specifications and design criteria related to soils and pavements. * Evaluate laboratory tests and results related to material properties and soil characteristics. * Verify compliance with construction procedures and corresponding quality controls. * Issue technical reports and observations regarding work within their specialty. * Participate in the review of quantity take-offs, valuations, and technical documentation related to their specialty. * Coordinate with other specialists and professionals involved in project execution and/or supervision. * Provide technical support for inquiries, incidents, and situations related to their specialty. * Ensure compliance with technical specifications, drawings, applicable regulations, and other contractual documents. Profile We Seek A professional with solid experience in **soil mechanics, geotechnics, and pavements**, strong technical analytical ability, sound professional judgment, and proven experience in infrastructure and/or similar projects. **Important:** Experience must be properly substantiated with required documentation for professional profile verification.
